My full name is Ryan Sandor Richard.
School and Work
At this time I am enrolled as a Computer Science Major at Michigan Technological University (although I doubt I will go into the field after graduating).
Web development has always been fun for me, as I very much enjoy creating functional layouts (and scary ones too). My specialty is server side scripting in PHP and CSS styling, but I am certainly no newbie to graphic design, client-side scripting, structure, content management, and database design.
Currently I am working full time as a web developer for a local company called Sandstone Digital. I am also available for hire, please contact me for details.
Video Game Development
A possible avenue for my future might be in the game development field. I would very much like to compose music and design aural settings for video games. At the current time I am working on a large browser based game, creating an extensive sprite mapping utility for Java2D and Flash games, and trying my damndest to make a good ‘de_’ map for Counter Strike: Source (its not easy!).
Music and Production
As far as music is concerned, I play multiple instruments including: Guitar, Drums, Bongos, Piano, and the Radio. Where I really shine is as a songwriter, and am currently working towards either Graduate school for composition or to become a performer.
Conclusion
I am a rascal, a guitar-slinger, and a darn good shot with a squirt-gun. For recreation I skateboard (horribly), play video games, and program (yep, you heard me). I dislike long walks on the beach, and am extremely lucky for some reason. All I can say for sure is that I’m ‘Sandor’.
